ABOUT THE FOUNDER
Rick Friesen built simple systems
that help business run better.
Rick Friesen is the founder of Arcan Digital Systems. Most recently, he worked at a prominent steel building company, where he helped build the business from the ground up and created practical systems that kept operations running smoothly. Even when staff changed, the work continued and customers didn't notice disruptions.
That experience reinforced what matters to him; simple, repeatable systems, clear documentation, and technology that makes work easier, not more complicated.
WHY ARCAN EXISTS
Good companies shouldn't depend on one person holding everything together.
After leaving a prominent steel building company that he helped build from the ground up, Rick realized how much he valued well-run businesses. He saw firsthand how simple systems, clear processes, and good documentation could keep operations moving smoothly — even when staff changed.
That became the reason for starting Arcan Digital Systems. Too many businesses are fragmented, overly dependent on what a few people know, and vulnerable when someone leaves. Arcan exists to help companies build simple, repeatable systems that reduce key-person risk, support the team, and make the business easier to operate.
WHAT DRIVES ARCAN
Simple systems.
Clear document.
Less dependency on individuals.
The goal is a business that keeps work well even when people change.
